Working for both the TV and radio shows, my job involved looking after guests and artists, researching information on all the acts in that week’s top 40, communicating with TV & Radio pluggers to arrange interviews with artists, compiling music videos, shooting competition prizes and organising the music for the live show at Capital Radio.

My main role is to ensure that the on-air look of the show is attractive, as well as accurate, by working with the director, production team so that each show, brand & item has the correct information and appropriate style. This means reacting quickly, cooly and creatively as well as being well prepped. I have also directed over 100 hours of live broadcast, several guest/presenter auditions and helped out on both live and non-live events.
Freelance Work:
Director/Editor - 2002 - Present.
I have worked for several music websites creating their video content. This mostly involves filming live performances, interviewing the artists and making promotional material. Examples of my work can be seen at…

About Me:
I consider myself to be quite creative and hate having nothing to do - I would much rather be busy than bored and although I am easy-going, I feel that I often produce my best work when under pressure. I am very passionate about things I love and have often been accused of being a bit of a geek on certain subjects,  but I see it as a being focused, enthusiastic and studious! I enjoy working well in a team and am always happy to help out in any way I can, as I believe that teamwork is essential to any job for the best results as well as job satisfaction.

On a personal note, I love watching interesting television, films and music videos and am a huge fan of Stanley Kubrick, Quentin Tarantino, John Carpenter, David Cronenberg, John Hughes, Brian De Palma, Takashi Miike and Kevin Smith to name a few of my favourite directors. I think the visual medium is the most emotive and anything that crosses a good story with the right style and makes you think is the highest form of art that there is.

Music is big in my life too! I like all genres and have everything from funk to metal in my collection. I go to gigs and festivals as often as I possibly can have been lucky enough to have worked with some brilliant small bands as well as massive artists such as Girls Aloud, Green Day, R.E.M, Mariah Carey and Robbie Williams… and although I am not very good, I can play bass guitar and am currently trying to teach myself the harmonica!

I love football fan and have been lucky enough to work with some talented people including the BBC’s Mark Bright, Ken Bates, the England Women’s Football Team and editor of ‘FourFourTwo’ football magazine, Mat Snow. Apart from football I also enjoy rock climbing, mountain biking, snooker and tennis.
